Hi, I’m Chef Dean
When I first started my professional culinary journey over 30 years ago, there was one thing at my core that motivated me - one thing that brought me joy. It was seeing the joy that others experienced when encountering exciting and exceptional food.
I obtained my formal training at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. This led to a career working in the fast-paced world of Michelin-starred restaurants and 5-star hotels, as well as cooking for executives at Sony Pictures. As that season came to a close, I thought I was ready to retire and settle into a cozy little restaurant in Palm Springs.
But then, COVID flipped the script. Three families from Beverly Hills hired me as their private chef while they escaped the city to work from home. Those three months changed everything. I quickly realized that I didn’t want the grind of running a restaurant—I wanted something more personal, more fun, and a whole lot more flexible. I found my groove in creating tailored, intimate dining experiences that bring people together in a way that no restaurant ever could.
Now my focus is on turning your event into something unforgettable.
